This school proposes various introductory and advanced courses within six
areas: Language, Logic, Computation, Language & Logic, Language & Computation, Logic & Computation.
Several symposia, workshops and evening lectures will complete the programme. In addition, a student session will enable the young researchers to present
their works. Several grants will be available. Application folder will be available soon.
The ninth ESSLLI is to be held in
Aix-en-Provence
(France) from August 11 to August 22 1997.
ESSLLI'97 is organised under the auspices of the European Association
for Logic, Language and Information
(FoLLI).
Previous summer schools have been highly successful, attracting
around 500 students from Europe and elsewhere.The school has developed
into an important meeting place and forum for discussion for researchers
and students interested in the interdisciplinary study of Logic, Language
and Information. the main objective of this summer school is to combine the
findings of a large number of researchers from disciplines such as Logic,
Computer Science, Linguistics and Cognitive Science.
